For podcasters & sound recordists
A pouch protects a mic from scratches. Foam protects it from physics.
Condenser capsules and recorder screens don't care how padded your pouch is when the bag hits the floor. Name your mic or recorder and get a hard case matched to its measured dimensions.

Why foam beats pouches for condensers
A condenser mic is a precision diaphragm suspended in a metal tube — drop it in a pouch and every knock travels straight through. In a hard case, PU foam does two jobs a pouch can't: it holds the mic completely still, and it absorbs the shock of a drop instead of passing it to the capsule.
The sealed shell earns its keep in transit too — the o-ring gasket stops humid monsoon air cycling through the case. Toss in a silica gel pouch and the same case doubles as sensible between-session storage.
What recordists actually case
- Studio condensers riding to voice-over sessions — the NT1s and C414s that never leave home otherwise.
- Wireless kits — the charging case holds the transmitters, and a foam pocket holds the charging case, receiver mounts and cables.
- Field recorders, screens and gain knobs facing up in a snug pocket instead of grinding against a zipper.
- Shotgun mics — long, thin, and precisely why long shallow cases exist.
- Audio interfaces, whose knobs never come out of a backpack unbent.
Packing a whole kit?
Mic plus recorder plus wireless kit plus a nest of cables — multi-item foam layouts are their own puzzle, and the finder currently sizes one hero item at a time.

Questions we answer every day
Will an SM7B fit with its mount attached?
Search "SM7B" in the finder — it's in the database with real measured dimensions, and it's bulkier than it looks. Coil the XLR into its own foam pocket rather than leaving it plugged in; connectors bend, pockets don't.
Cubed or plain foam for microphones?
Cubed pluck foam is ideal for mics — pull a mic-shaped channel and the surrounding cubes grip the body snugly. For a settled set of mics, plain PU sheet cut with the included knife gives cleaner, tighter pockets. Both foam variants include an egg-crate lid that holds everything down when the case closes.
Do wireless kits stay in their charging case inside the foam?
Yes — cut the pocket for the charging case, not the individual transmitters. You keep drop-in charging on the move and the pocket count stays sane. Our gear database measures wireless kits in their charging case for exactly this reason.
How should I store condensers between sessions in humid weather?
A closed hard case with a silica gel pouch is a solid home — the o-ring seal keeps humid air from cycling through, and the silica handles what's left inside. Recharge or replace the silica periodically. Your mic's manual remains the final word on storage.
How long does delivery take within India?
Orders ship from Bangalore, usually within 1–2 working days of payment. Metros typically see delivery in 2–5 working days; remote pincodes can take a little longer. Shipping is free across India, and all orders are prepaid.
